How did you get into your field?
My background in fitness began when I was a long distance runner. This then led to a love for movement and learning how to care for and push the human body.
What is your training background and how long have you practicing/teaching?
After three years of running, my interest in physical fitness shifted to learning how to build a strong body. I spent five years exploring that passion and gaining experience from many different styles of training over time.
Who influenced your career path (who have you enjoyed learning from, mentor, etc)?
I have really grown in my knowledge of the body in motion while working under my mentor, Josh Hostetler. My background in yoga influences my movement training and accentuates the intentional approach of movement training itself.
What makes you love your field?
My deep appreciation for connecting the mind to the body. I believe the more we understand our bodies and are able to use them, the better our quality of life will be.
What kind of clients do you love working with?
I love working with people who want to gain confidence, ease their pain and move better, while also building strength.
What’s your mission?
My mission in this field is to help others discover strength in their bodies and to increase quality of life through ease of movement.
